Today we took the whale watching tour with them and we couldn't be happier that we chose them!
It was spectacular! You can tell they have a lot of experience and they always know exactly where and when to go into the water to get the best view. I definitely recommend them, especially knowing that other boats take more than 6 people and have to take turns... with them, none of that happens.

We had an great tour with Vero and his wife. Seeing a humpback whale and her baby calf in the open ocean was amazing. You don't realize how enormous these beautiful animals are until you see them so close. Mooreo Reo Tours was very helpful and responsive via email in sending a taxi to pick us up since we were on a WindStar cruise that docked in Cook's Bay (have cash on hand (either USD or XPF) to pay your driver. Thanks again Moorea Reo Tours for an unforgettable experience!!!

Fantastic and honest tour operator . They offered us a possibility to cancel the trip last minute as the sea was too choppy and sailing area smaller . We decided to go and it was an amazing experience. The tour guide is very enthusiastic and shows respect to whales . We saw from very close mum and baby whale on several occasions while swimming .
There was also a fantastic wibe on the boat with music and they offered us drinks and refreshments. We enjoyed a tour very much . Many thanks !

We had the best time of our whole French Polynesia trip on this tour. We hadn't booked to swim with whales before we arrived, but then it seemed like an absolute must-do so we were able to book with Moorea Reo pretty last-minute.
The crew are amazing and love the whales so much it doesn't feel like an exploitative experience, everyone is very caring and respectful of the whales.
We swam with one singing male which was incredible, and saw three playing from the boat and were able to swim with two of them.
An amazing experience. Be aware it helps to be a confident swimmer as you need to move fast when the whales are spotted!

Absolutely incredible experience. They helped me book a very last minute tour and absolutely crushed the experience. They were knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, and SO patient. I had landed at 330am and hopped on this tour at noon and they were so kind to help tow me along when I was dead tired trying to swim. We swam with a whale within the first 30 minutes being on the water and then they tracked down a mom and baby whale that we were hovering (a respectful distance) right above. They kept us out on the water a bit later than planned just to help capture that amazing moment, shared the video with all of us (truly incredible footage!), provided some light snacks and rum punch, and since we were out later they even drove me to my ferry so I wouldn’t miss it! Very kind. Very safe (I’m terrified of the vastness of the ocean and I had an amazing time). I’m so glad my other tour was canceled and they could squeeze me in. Forever grateful for the experience! Many thanks for an unforgettable time! A beautiful combination of respect for the whales, educating us, and ensuring we had a stellar time.

We had an amazing experience with Moorea Reo Tours! They were dedicated to us seeing whales and having a great experience. They were knowledgeable and taught us many insights about the whales and their culture. I loved the respect they had for the whales! The husband and wife duo make a great team! We thoroughly enjoyed their company. We saw sharks in the water while swimming w pilot whales and humpback whales! They ensured our safety at all times and I felt very safe with them! They were awesome! Those in my family that didn’t feel competent in their swimming and being in the ocean stayed right w him as he guided us in the water and his boogie board. His photographer was amazing too and caught some great moments for us! They make it possible for ALL to experience the wonderful marine life in French Polynesia!!

Literally just had the most incredible experience of my life thanks to Moorea Reo Tours. This family owned company took their time to educate us and allow us to ethically swim with giants. They went above and beyond and I am forever grateful for the beautiful moments I’ve had in the stunning waters of Mo’orea.

A great excursion with Moorea Reo Tours. They are very respectful of the whales, and we felt safe. We were able to swim with a singing male and a calf.
We were in a small group today with part of their family, and they kindly offered us to have a snack with them on the boat at the end of the tour.
A great time!

I had a wonderful excursion with Moorea Reo Tours. I happened to be out with some of their repeat customers/friends, and they went out of their way to play music and create a really cool vibe and atmosphere. They were very respectful of the whales and would leave them alone at any sign of stress. They were also excellent at accommodating guests who were on their first whale swim. And because of the great atmosphere on the boat we had some great experiences with different whales. Thank you for the very memorable experience! The new boat is also pretty nice!!

Book this tour now!! An experience you will not forget. Averii and Veroarii (owners) were very responsive on email to book and confirmed everything the day before the tour. We were picked up at our hotel by Averii and taken to the marina. It was supposed to be a 4 hour tour but probably ended up being closer to 6-7 because there were numerous opportunities to swim with the whales. They are both extremely knowledgeable and well versed at spotting the whales. We probably got 5 meters from a calf as it swam towards our group. Seeing the whales swim and interact underwater was very cool. Also get to see a good view of Moorea as you cruise back to the marina in the lagoon. Bring only sunscreen and a wetsuit top if you get cold in the water.

We had the pleasure of going whale watching with Moorea Reo Tours four times, and it was an unforgettable experience each time. The guides, Veroarri and Ave, were incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we stepped on board. We had some unique and magical encounters with whales, memories that will stay with us for a long time. But what really stood out was the special atmosphere that both of them created on the boat – it was simply one of a kind. Thank you so much to both of you!

Our whale tour with Moorea Reo tours were nothing short of amazing! Our captain Ave and guide Tony made this such a perfect day for us. They were great at spotting the whales and made sure we got really close to them in the water, while at the same time being very mindful and staying well clear of the whales with the boat.
Their boat is very comfortable and new, so is their snorkling equipment. The tour finished with delicious snacks while cruising the lagoon.
Nothing short of a perfect day, I would give them 100’s of stars - they deserve every one of them!
